The Pneumatic Digital Option
The digital probes are accurate up to 1.27 microns or .00005”. A single workstation can accommodate up to 62 probes. With customization, that number can be doubled to 124 probes per Orion Workstation. The pneumatic feature requires standard shop air and has filtration, moisture and pressure regulation built in. |
Linear Encoder
The addition of a linear encoder with remote trigger renders manual height gages obsolete. The encoder accomplishes in seconds what normally requires several minutes with a standard height gage, while also reducing the possibility for error. |
Non-Contact Options
The Orion SPC Advantage Software already interfaces with precision laser and machine vision systems to offer superior resolution without the restriction of point to point contact with your product. Ask to speak with one of our application specialists in order to determine if non-contact is the right approach for your process. |
Customization
Sigma Technology Service’s team of programmers is experienced at interfacing the software with most commercial electronic measurement systems and databases. The software can be customized to integrate seamlessly with your existing inspection system or database. Customized features are quoted based on an hourly rate and the expected time required to complete the interface. |
